畢特為南華披甲上陣

　　今天南華與畢特經理人全球同時發佈新聞稿，公佈南華與畢特的消息。畢特會來南華操練，同時我們會與畢特及經理人坐下面談，如雙方都感到合適，在畢特逗留期間，我們將決定畢特下半季加盟南華的時間。

　　今天的消息，是共同發佈，畢特在英國那邊亦已開始接受傳媒訪問，已完成的訪問包括Sky Sports和曼聯的官方頻道，最快於星期三播出。這兩天畢特亦會陸續接受其他傳媒的邀約訪問。

　　今次的公佈，除了畢特「跟操」之外，還有一個好消息的。就是畢特將會穿起南華球衣，在11月30日在大球場對飛馬的賽事中披甲上陣。目前我們正辦理球員註冊手續。相關的新聞稿及下週推出預售門券的消息，請留意Blog II及官網公佈。（ http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/scmkg/article?mid=14282 ）

　　剛才看到網友轉貼people.co.uk消息，傳言畢特以20萬英磅週薪加盟南華，這個數字並不正確。我只可以講，南華付出的是合理薪酬，由於與畢特及經理人有協議在先，他的薪金將不會公佈。

　　對於畢特，我們都十分期待，希望他來南華操練之後，互相感到適合，為南華爭取亞協盃加強實力。

　　至於早前到港隨南華操練的現役洪都拉斯國腳Jerry Palacio，由於彼此感到不太合適，教練和他詳談之後，雙方決定不合作了。

　　Jerry坦然表示，他很喜歡中國，也喜歡香港，他在中超踢波，對環境很適應，但來到香港，有感操練場地及設施水準較低，如有機會，他不排除再到中國球會落班，現時Jerry已離隊，返回洪都拉斯。在此感謝他專程來到南華操練，期間相處愉快，並祝他日後有更佳發展。

　　很明白球員決定離鄉外流，是一個重大的決定，有時不是一個人的決定，家人的意見也具有決定性作用。

　　畢特來港，他將會親自感受南華是否適合，並與家人商量；我們亦會十分留意他的發揮，希望有他留效南華的好消息。

SOUTH CHINA BECKONS EX MANCHESTER UNITED STAR BUTT
「南華招攬前曼聯球星畢特」

Ex Manchester United and England International Nicky Butt will embark on an exciting trip to the Far East later this month, in what could be a shock u-turn decision for the midfielder. Nicky, who retired from football in May this year, will travel to Hong Kong where he will spend a week training and playing with South China FC, before making a decision to stay for the remainder of the season.
前曼聯中場球員、英格蘭國腳畢特將在月底開展亞洲之旅，這對他來說可能是一個震撼的轉捩點。畢特今年五月退出足球生涯，但他即將來港與南華足球會訓練和比賽一周，並決定是否留在香港參加本季餘下的賽事。

South China FC, whose achievements include 40 League titles and 9 FA cups, is having their sights set on the 2011 AFC Cup in February.  'Never Look Back' is the team's motto and Nicky's arrival is definitely a view to the future.
南華足球會戰績彪炳，曾獲四十次香港聯賽冠軍及九次足總盃冠軍。該會下一個目標是明年二月開始的亞洲足協盃。畢特來投對南華的前景大有幫助，呼應了球隊的格言「永不回望」。

"I wanted some time out of the game to concentrate on my next step either in or out of football. However I feel fit and when South China FC approached me to join them for a week's training and a game, the prospect excited me. I could see from their team and commitment to the game that this was something I wanted to be a part of," said Nicky, "I have been to China many times with Manchester United and England and the reception we received was always unbelievable. The development and growth of Asian football since 2002 has been phenomenal and can be seen from the influence of Asian players in the Premiership. I am really looking forward to this new experience and the challenges it will bring."
畢特表示：「我曾希望在球賽以外，能夠有一些時間專心思考是否繼續足球生涯。但我認為自己還適合踢球，而且當南華足球會邀請我參與一周訓練和比賽時，我對這一前景感到興奮。該隊對足球的承擔令我希望成為他們的一員。」他又說：「我曾隨曼聯和英格蘭隊來到中國多次，中國球迷對我們的歡迎總是熱烈得令人難以置信。2002年以來，亞洲足球得到非凡的發展和成長，這可以從亞洲球員在英格蘭超級聯賽的影響力反映出來。我十分期望迎接這次全新的經歷和挑戰。」

South China FC Chairman, Steven Lo said, "Everyone is excited by Nicky's arrival and the knowledge and experience he can bring to the team. We are always looking to attract talent to strengthen our squad and this demonstrates our commitment to that. Nicky's records internationally and domestically speak for themselves and I am sure he will receive a fantastic reception when he arrives at the Hong Kong Stadium. It is definitely a good news for HK fans that, we have managed to have Nicky to play in our forth coming home match on November 30, against our League’s strong team TSW Pegasus FC.  I myself am also excited to meet Nicky and discuss with him the about playing South China in the remaining of the season, which, the AFC Cup is always our goal to achieve."
南華足主羅傑承表示：「畢特來投將為球隊帶來知識和經驗，所有人都因此感到興奮。我們一直希望吸引高質素的球員，加強球隊的實力，今次來投展示了我們這項承諾。畢特在國內外的成就無庸置疑，我有信心他將在香港大球場上得到熱情的招待。畢特將為南華上陣，在十一月三十日主場迎戰本地勁旅天水圍飛馬，這對香港球迷而言肯定是一項好消息。我也非常期盼與畢特見面，和他商討在南華留效一季的事宜。我們本季的目標一直是亞洲足協盃的錦標。」
